Brody is a sleep coach
What does it mean? Well, that he helps your little child understand when it is day and night. Or, in other words, when to sleep and when it's okay to get up. Small children have no sense of time. The day begins the moment they open their eyes, which can be quite early (and tiring) when it happens often for parents.
How does it work?
Zazu Brody uses simple color pedagogy to show when it's time to sleep and when it's OK to get up. You set the time for when your child should sleep or wake up, just like an alarm clock. Brody can light up red, orange, and green with his belly.
- Red means it's time to sleep. If you press Brody's belly during the night, the belly lights up red.
- Orange means that it will soon be morning. 30 minutes before it's time to get up, Brody's light changes. Press the belly and it lights up orange. During the last five minutes, Brody's belly will light up on its own to tell the child that there are only a few minutes left.
- Green light means that it is morning and now it is OK to get up! When it's time to get up, Brody's belly will automatically switch to a green light.

Besides this, Brody is also a classic night light. During the night, Brody can light up his belly with a soothing red glow. The light turns off automatically after 20 minutes.
Brody can also play soothing music: lullabies, white noise, and sounds from the African savannah at sunset. The music turns off automatically after 20 minutes.
Research shows that newborns who hear white noise fall asleep more easily than babies who do not hear white noise. In addition to white noise, heartbeat sounds remove stress from the baby, which helps them calm down and sleep better.
Finally, if your child starts crying during the night, Brody's belly can light up temporarily to provide comfort in the dark.
