Guide: How to choose a mattress for your baby

Your choice of mattress is the foundation for a good night's sleep for your baby - and for you. Therefore, it is important to choose a mattress that provides your child with the support and comfort they need. This guide will help you choose and get an overview of the mattress packages and mattress protectors that AeroSleep offers: Mattress Protectors, Mattress Packages & Mattress Packages PREMIUM.

1. CHOOSE MATTRESS PROTECTOR FIRST

When we buy a mattress for ourselves, we usually consider its design. However, when choosing a mattress for the baby, it is important to first select a good mattress protector. With small babies, small accidents often happen, so it can be good to protect the mattress in the bed. A really good mattress protector also protects your baby while they sleep. How? Well, a mattress protector with an airy 3D structure allows your child to sleep on air, which is both cool and safe for your baby.

Does your child have asthma or allergies?

Mattress protector from AeroSleep consists of three layers. The first layer is breathable and consists of 95% air, while the second layer is terry cloth and collects any leakage. The third layer protects the underlying mattress from leakage but also protects your child as the mattress protector becomes a barrier between the baby and the mattress. In this way, 100% of dust mites and 99.7% of allergens are prevented from reaching your child.

2 CHOOSE MATTRESS

Once you have chosen a mattress protector, it is time to choose a mattress. AeroSleep offers three different mattress packages: Essential, Evolution, and ECOlution. These come in various sizes, but the most common size is 60x120 cm, which fits a crib. A mattress package includes both a mattress and a mattress protector, making it an excellent start for your baby. The mattress protector is similar regardless of the package, so now you just need to choose the mattress that suits you best.

Essential

The Essential Mattress Package is the affordable and high-quality choice. The mattress is 9 cm thick and is a durable, high-quality mattress with good support for the child's back.

Evolution

The Evolution Mattress Package is the high-quality choice. The mattress is 10 cm thick and is a top-quality mattress with an open cell structure for increased ventilation and moisture reduction.

ECOlution

The ECOlution Mattress Package is the environmentally friendly and sustainable choice. The mattress is ECO-labeled and 10 cm thick with fantastic quality. Cool, luxurious mattress cover in TENCEL®, an antibacterial natural material that prevents bacterial growth and bad odors.

MATTRESS PACKAGE PREMIUM

Snoring and difficulty sleeping? Stomach ache or ear infection? All parents know what it means for a night's sleep when the little one isn't feeling well. Now there is a solution, a mattress that can have an inclined lying position called AeroSleep PREMIUM. With this solution, you can change the child's lying position from flat to inclined as needed in a simple and smooth way.

Why should one lie inclined? Yes, many different ailments are helped by having the head elevated when sleeping. For example, coughing gets worse towards the night because the airways can swell a bit when lying down. An inclined lying position therefore alleviates colds, but also stomach pain, ear infections, reflux, and similar situations. It simply facilitates breathing and promotes digestion.

AeroSleep PREMIUM mattress has a wedge at one end that can be moved to the other end to change the incline from horizontal to slightly inclined (7°). Here you can see a film on how it works.

The PREMIUM mattress package won the Innovation Award 2020 and is available in two versions, Evolution and ECOlution, and in various sizes.

THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE THE BED
