Zazu has specialized in making smart sleep products. Their latest launch is the sleep projectors Shally and Henry. Both are smart projectors that lull your child to sleep in three steps with sound and image.
How does it work then?
Yes, research shows that red light and sunset are two factors that induce sleep. What happens in the body at the end of the day is that the body's own sleep aid melatonin is secreted from the brain and we become sleepy. But some mischievous children may need a little help to relax, and here come Shally and Henry in. They are projectors with a 30-minute sleep program that gradually fades out until the child falls asleep.
Watch the movie here (Tim acts as Shally & Henry):
SLEEP PROGRAM IN 3 STEPS
Step 1. Calm down your child (0-10 min)
- Follow the birds flying around the room together with sounds from the savannah.
Step 2. Get sleepy (10-20 min)
- A weaker brightness, the African sun begins to set while fewer birds fly by. The sound is a relaxing sound from the savannah.
Step 3. Fall asleep (20-30 min)
- A faint projection of sunset, no birds and no sound.
The sunset has a magical orange glow with birds flying around the room. The soft orange light stimulates the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. Choose between three sounds: African savanna sounds, lullabies, or heartbeat sounds. After 30 minutes, the program will automatically turn itself off.
