With Ergobaby's best-selling and top-rated model Omni 360/Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh being upgraded to Omni Dream/Breeze last year, we suddenly had 4 models to consider. Here we clarify the concepts regarding Ergobaby's baby carrier Omni - new and old models.
To begin with, Omni 360 and Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh have been replaced by Dream and Breeze:
The transition happens gradually and they will coexist for a while before Dream and Breeze take over. So the first question one might ask is; what is the difference between the old and new models? Well, it is summarized well here:
The biggest ergonomic change with the new models is that the seating base for the child has been improved to provide more encompassing support for the child. Another major difference is the choice of materials. Breeze is even more ventilated than Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh and consists of SoftFlex™, which is a soft mesh fabric for maximum airflow. Dream is Ergobaby's softest Omni carrier with brushed SoftTouch™ cotton, a brushed, soft cotton that has an entirely new feel, especially for the little one. In addition, there are some new features that we haven't seen before:
