What are the dimensions of the bike when folded?

In its most compact state, the Bastille measures L82 × W33 × H80 cm. It fits in the train's luggage compartment, just like regular luggage.

Does the Bastille E suit all heights?

The geometry of the Bastille is designed to be as universal as possible and suits cyclists between 1.60 m and 1.90 m.

There are two types of handlebars to choose from:

What are the motor specifications of the Bastille E?

The Bastille E is equipped with an all-in-one hub where the motor, battery, and controller are fully integrated into the rear hub.

The bike does not have a separate torque sensor, but the motor is controlled by advanced software that adjusts the power based on your pedaling. It is also equipped with an incline sensor that accounts for hills. The result is a smooth, natural, and jerk-free assistance.

Is the battery on the Bastille E removable?

No. The battery is integrated into the rear hub and cannot be removed.

However, charging is very simple: fold the bike and connect the charging cable at home or at the office.

Can I ride without assistance if the battery is dead?

Yes. The Bastille E is an electric bike, but fundamentally a very light and high-quality bike.

Set the assistance to OFF mode or remove the hub cap, and the bike functions as a single-speed bike (gear ratio 2.63). Thanks to the freewheel, the motor creates no resistance, and you can easily continue cycling even with a dead battery.

What is the Bastille app used for?

The Bastille E starts by pedaling – no app required. You can keep your phone in your pocket.
