   473 ml: Elvie Breast Milk Cooler holds up to 473 ml of breast milk with the cooling pack in, and up to 800 ml without, which corresponds to about 3–4 pumpings.
2. Are the cooler's parts dishwasher safe?
   The stainless steel cooler bottle, lid, cooling cup, and spout for the cooling cup are all dishwasher safe. We recommend hand washing the cooling pack.
3. How long should the cooling pack be in the freezer before use?
   For best results, place the cooling pack in the freezer for at least 8 hours – preferably up to 12 hours.
   
4. How long can I store breast milk in the cooler?
   According to guidelines, breast milk can be stored in a cooler with a cooling pack under 15°C for up to 24 hours and maintain a safe temperature.
   
5. What are the dimensions of the cooler?
   473 ml: The cooler is 24.8 cm high and 9.5 cm wide at its widest point. It fits in most standard cup holders.
   
6. Can I mix milk from multiple pumpings in the cooler?
   Yes, the cooler is designed to store milk from multiple pumpings. Just mix milk pumped within the same 24-hour period.
   
7. If I store the cooler in the fridge, can the milk last longer than 24 hours?
   The milk should not remain in the cooler for more than 24 hours before being transferred to a milk storage bag and placed in the fridge (up to 4 days) or freezer (up to 6 months). The cooler should only be stored in the fridge with the frozen cooling pack in place.
   
8. I notice the ice melts quite quickly. Should I worry about the milk?
   Don't worry – we've tested the cooler with ice cubes, even with several rounds of warm milk. When you add freshly pumped milk, the ice starts to melt while cooling the milk. Once the milk is cooled, the vacuum-insulated bottle takes over. If you're still unsure, you can always check the milk's temperature and add more ice to the cooling cup.
